If you’re not sure which pitch to choose why not check out ‘The Dell’ camping area.
The Dell camping area is the larger of our 2 areas. As it’s name suggests it is located in a woodland dell. There are 9 family pitches all with EHU and water. It is ideal for individual families or small groups as many of the pitches are located in small clusters. There are also 2 smaller pitches suitable for 2-3 man tents but don’t worry – these have EHU too. There is a large central area for children to play and adults to gather. There is definitely a communal feel to The Dell.
The barn with it’s associated facilities is located on The Dell. You will have access to communal fridges, BBQs and the mobile phone charging points as well as the table tennis table and other games in the barn. We have fire pits available to borrow and wood for sale in our small shop.
On The Dell are 2 composting urinals suitable for everyone to use. There is a short walk up to the main toilet and shower block with flushing toilets, warm showers (without a push button) and the pot wash.
There is no vehicular access and steps/a steep slope to the car park and main toilet and shower block . Therefore guests with mobility concerns should choose our Glade camping area. However, our onsite vehicle and team of friendly staff will be on hand to help you take your equipment to and from your pitch. Once you are down there, guests love the feel of ‘no cars’.
